Meet George McMann, the founder of Red Wagon Stories.

The story behind Red Wagon Stories began decades ago when George McMann wrote a children's story and tucked the manuscript away. Years later, his son discovered it tucked away and encouraged him to finally share it with the world.

What started as a single unpublished story became a calling.

Drawing on more than 20 years of experience serving in children's and youth ministry, George founded Red Wagon Stories with a simple mission: to create engaging children's books that inspire character, strengthen families, and reinforce timeless values such as kindness, honesty, compassion, perseverance, forgiveness, and love.

Today, George is actively involved in the children's literacy and publishing community. In addition to writing and publishing books, he participates in school book drives, author events, conventions, classroom visits, and library reading programs, where he enjoys connecting directly with young readers and the families who support them.

George serves as Chapter President of the St. Lucie County chapter of Authors' Roundtable of Florida and is a member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators (SCBWI) and the Florida Parent-Educators Association (FPEA).

Through Red Wagon Stories, George continues to pursue his passion for creating meaningful stories that entertain children while helping them develop strong character and values that can last a lifetime.
